Checklist for dancers

A Dancer’s checklist varies based on the type of the event.

The events can be: Cold Weather Parades, Warm Weather Parades, Inside Engagements, Outside Engagements!

As a general rule: ALL COSTUMES SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO ALL ENGAGEMENTS! 

  • WINTER PARADE ATTIRE: (STATE STREET THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE)                        KILT, KILT HOSE, HAIR IN BUN, BLACK THHD (OR AFFILIATE) FLEECE JACKET AND MATCHING HEADBAND, AS MANY LAYERS A
    YOU NEED UNDERNEATH TO STAY WARM. YOU MAY WEAR FLESH COLORED TIGHTS TO FILL THE GAP BETWEEN THE
    THE TOP OF YOUR SOCKS AND THE BOTTOM OF YOUR KILT. NO OTHER COLOR IS ACCEPTABLE! KNIT GLOVES
    SHOULD BE IN THE PREDOMINATE COLOR OF THE KILT ALONG WITH A SIMPLE FLEECE SCARF IN THE SAME COLOR.
    THERE WILL BE A CHANGE IN FOOTWEAR FOR THE STATE STREET THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE THIS YEAR.

  • SUMMER PARADE ATTIRE: (4TH OF JULY PARADES)
    KILT, SHORT WHITE SOCKS, ACCEPTABLE PARADE FOOTWEAR, HAIR IN BUN, 2014 THHD WHITE PARADE T-SHIRT!
  • IN-BETWEEN PARADE ATTIRE: (WHEN THE WEATHER IS COMFORTABLE – SOMETIMES ST. PATRICK’S DAY AND COLUMBUS DAY)
    FULL HIGHLAND OUTFIT, HAIR IN BUN, ACCEPTABLE PARADE FOOTWEAR.
