FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Nancy Strolle, founder and director of the group, has been involved with Highland Dance since she was five years old. She has studied in Scotland, and is a Member of the British Association of Teachers of Dance (BATD), in both the Highland and National branches. Nancy is a Past-President of the Federation of the United States Teachers and Adjudicators (FUSTA), the lead Scottish dance organization in the United States. In addition, Nancy has served as the first woman President of the Illinois Saint Andrew Society (ISAS), the oldest philanthropic organization chartered in the State of Illinois and has been recognized by the Caledonian Foundation as Scotswoman of the Year, and the ISAS as Clanswoman of the Year. Nancy has been teaching in the Chicago area for over 30 years. In July of 2023, nancy was inducted into the FUSTA hall of fame.
